Attunement, Inc. (“Attunement,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Attunement Redaction Assistant.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• name;
• email address;
• organization;
• login credentials; and
• account preferences.

Uploaded Documents

When you use the Service, we process documents you upload, including information contained within those documents.

If those documents contain Protected Health Information (PHI), our handling of PHI is governed by the applicable Business Associate Agreement.

Usage Information

We collect information about how the Service is used, including:

• login activity;
• browser and device information;
• diagnostic information;
• feature usage; and
• security logs.

We do not intentionally include document content in diagnostic logs.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide the Service;
• authenticate users;
• maintain security;
• improve reliability and performance;
• communicate with users;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not use uploaded documents or PHI to train or improve machine learning models.

3. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only:

• with service providers assisting us in operating the Service;
• when required by law;
• to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or Attunement; or
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.

Where service providers receive PHI, they are required to protect it in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded documents and data derived from them are generally retained for no longer than seven (7) days to provide the Service.

Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to fourteen (14) additional days before deletion.

Account information and security records may be retained longer as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

5. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

You may:

• access and update your account information;
• close your account; and
• contact us regarding privacy questions.

Certain information may be retained where required by law or necessary to protect the integrity and security of the Service.

7. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email where appropriate.
